Now this family in Nakuru is close to harvest their maize. This harvest has been very successful! The initiative has been sponsored. Maybe during 2013 another harvest is possible at the same land

A new church is rising from the ground in Nakuru! Now roof is in place too. Everybody in the church are assisting each other in the process. A lot of hard work, but also inspiring. Working together, shoulder by shoulder unites! This church's members are very active in helping in solving social needs in their area

Mathew Ondicho runs a school for orphan kids (without a family) and kids where their family struggles with taking care of their education and eating. The school rooms around 30 kids, but the cost is around 250 USD a month. This is a big amount of money to raise locally. Help us assist Mathew in running this school.

This family was able to rent land for farming by a gift from Norway and is now partially self-sufficient with food. The family also use their scarce resources to help people even poorer than themselves. Help us help others!

This green village project is possibly the hugest project Empower Nakuru will focus on. The project covers all aspects of our constitution; * Help people in Nakuru to establish a good life outside the slum * The village will contain a Skills and Competency Centre * The village shall be green, possibly with passive house technology, reuse and recycling of material etc * Combined agriculture and poultry * School, church etc Help us buy a plot for this village!
